" Let all cats old enough to kill their own prey gather under the Highrock for a Clan meeting!" announce Autumnstar as she sat back patiently waiting for her Clan to gather. This was important, and a big threat to the Clan, so Autumnstar must announce it.

I sprang out of the hole of the nursery, running around in circles in front of the nursery. "Autumnstar called us! Come on, Earthgaze! Hurry! Don't be late!" This was my first clan meeting! Just then, I tripped over a hole in the ground and landed on my back. ''Oof."

Aurakit sprang out right after Rosekit pouncing along, Aurakit slid so fast she landed on Rosekit squealing loudly "Sorry, Rosekit!" Aurakit purred. She thudded herself next to Rosekit waiting silently for Earthgaze.

Tatterpet was already ready for the Gathering. He swiftly jogged to the Highrock. He was very worried because this meeting was the first one after their last Gathering, and important matters were needed to be discussed.

I padded out the nursery, my ears twitching anxiously. When I noticed Rosekit on the ground, I ran over and nudged her to her paws, trying not to laugh. "Watch where you're going. Now you're all messy!" I exclaimed as I started quickly flattening down her fur.

Mintheart padded up next to Autumnstar and sat down, wrapping her tail around her paws. She surveyed the cats with her bright green eyes; waiting for the entire Clan to assemble.
(Wait a minute; she said "all cats old enough to catch their own prey" to gather. Aren't kits too young to hunt anything?)

(Kits come to al gatherings anyway, even in the books. No one cares.)
