Bored...(Semi-literate!)

[Rosepaw]

I was bored. I was laying next to Earthgaze, my foster mother, and I was wide awake, waiting for some action. I surveyed the nursery. So silent I could hear a mouse breathing. Not that there was a mouse. I sighed. This is boring! It's not fair that we have to wait until we're 6 moons old...

After laying there for a while, I wriggled out of my moss bed and padded to the opening of the nursery. I watched the sun come from over the tip of the trees slowly. Finally, I thought. Sunrise.

The patrols were going to be announced soon, and I wanted to see Mintheart announce them. I sighed. I wanted to be deputy someday, loyal and serving the leader. All of my clanmates would be supportive to me if I get a higher rank than them. I realized my mother was going to wake soon, so I raced over again, not before stepping on her tail. I winced, and I hoped she wouldn't wake up...

[Earthgaze]

Earthgaze was dreaming, not anything special, just a normal dream. Well, cats can dream normal dreams too, ya know. It's not always stupid prophecies and so on. Besides, she was just a queen.

Earthgaze was running through lush grass, the sun shining high over head, just warming her silvery grey pelt. She was stalking a plump mouse. A great dream, really. Earthgaze was almost upon the mouse when she felt something step on her tail.

That woke her up fast. The grey tabby blinked awake to see Rosekit, trying to get back into sleeping position but had obviously just gotten up.

"Wha-Rosekit?"

[Whisperkit]

Whisperkit was snuggled against her mother, sleeping like a baby. Eh, she techinically is a baby. Ignore that.

"Mew..." She muttered in her sleep and tossed around, even when Earthgaze woke up. The grey kit batted at the air, muttering about a vole.

"Mmm..." Whisperkit snorted and snuggled in closer to Earthgaze. "Warm..." Then she lapsed out of the 'talking' phase of her sleep.

She has certain 'phases' she goes through every night. First, she's only half-asleep, then soon after is the action phase. Sorry Earthgaze, if Whisperkit accidentally kicks you. Then it's the 'talking' part, and soon after she's awake.

Whisperkit turned around again as her breathing slowly got heavier in her dreamless sleep.

[Earthgaze]

Earthgaze blinked sleepily until her bright sea-green eyes adjusted to the light. She yawned, licking the top of Whisperkit's head when the silver kit nuzzled closer to her.

"You're up already, Rosekit?" Earthgaze shook her head and yawned. She didn't stand up, but her eyes landed on the spotted kit.

[Rosepaw]

I nodded. "I want to see Mintheart sort the patrols." My eyes gleamed. "When I grow up, I want to be just like him! I want to be important to the clan!"

I thought about how awesome it would be to serve the clan, and serve the leader! I got a glazed look in my eyes and started daydreaming.

[Earthgaze]

Earthgaze chuckled lightly and watached Rosekit fantasize. "Sure ya can." She purred. "If ya want to watch the patrols, go ahead. Just don't annoy anyone. Just watch."

Earthgaze looked past Rosekit to outside the nursery, into camp. She remembered before she became a queen, and almost got sucked into her memories before she snapped out it quickly.

[Rosepaw]

"Yay!" I turned, squeezed out of the nursery, and ran to the place where the patrols were appointed. I stared yearningly at the camp opening. "I wish I was a warrior." I mumbled. Then, I could explore the forest, and learn to hunt!

I paced around, waiting for Mintheart to emerge from her den. I thought about how great it would feel running through the forest. The wind in your face...all the sharp forest scents...the prey... At that, I licked my lips hungrily. I could almost taste that juicy vole from yesterday.

[Earthgaze]

(I'm switching to 1st person pov! It's easier!)

I stared out at the small white and golden-orange bouncing ball of fur. Amusing. I was almost certain I was just as ethusiastic when I was kit.

Ah, good times.

Rosekit was glancing around earnestly and everything, shuffling her tiny paws and staring hungrily at the warriors den.

I licked a paw and drew it over my ear.
Whisperkit shuffled around in her sleep. She looked close to waking. I'd leave her to that.

[Aurakit]

[Okay I'm turning first person too]

I padded up to Earthgaze half asleep, my eyes were still slits as I purred "Earthgaze, Rosekit, Whisperkit, Angelkit, Petalkit, Mintheart, Autumnstar, ThunderClan, ShadowClan, Poisonstar, Deathkit, Heartstream, WindClan, Ivytail, Ferretfur, Fadingstar,RiverClan, Rosefur, Venomfang, Miststar, hello there I'm finally in a gathering" I myself didn't even know I was still in my dreams as I padded steadily toward Rosekit

" How are you Rosekit, Earthgaze, Angelkit, Petalkit..........."

[Earthgaze]

I stood up. Whsperkit mumbled something in her sleep but continued snoring on.

Aurakit was walking towards Rosekit in the clearing in the middle of camp, mumbling something I couldn't catch. I paddded out the nursery and was close enough to Aurakit to hear her ask, "How are you Rosekit, Earthgaze, Angelkit, Petalkit........."

[Aurakit]

"How are you Earthgaze, Whisperkit, Rosekit......." Aurakit continued mumbling.

[Earthgaze]

(Doesn't semi-literate mean AT LEAST 3 sentences?)

I padded up next to Aurakit and nudged her. "Sst. Wake up." It felt a little strange telling someone who was already standing up and walking to 'wake up', but, in this case, it was necessary. I didn't know cats could sleepwalk.

"Wake UP." Aurakit continued mumbling names.

[Aurakit]

[Oh--sorry Earthgaze, I didn't know that....]\
Aurakit immediately sat up blinking as if she didn't know what had happened at all. "Yes, Earthgaze, what is it?" Aurakit stifened up a bit more now blinking ominously adjust to the warm sunlight.

[Earthgaze]

I chuckled. "Well, you walked out of the nursery chanting names." I shook my head slightly. "Come on, back into the nursery. Unless you want to watch Mintheart organize patrols with Rosekit here."

Rosekit was watching us funny, every once in a while glancing back at the warriors den impatiently. It was almost dawn, so Mintheart should be out soon.

[Rosepaw]

I stared at Aurakit, confused, then shrugged. I shot another glance at the warriors' den. Where are you, Mintheart? I thought, annoyed.
