Bored...(Semi-literate!)

[Deathpaw]

Whisperkit (Not me, but she gave me permission to rp her):

I finally woke up and blinked sleep out of my eyes. Automatically, I tried to find Earthgaze but eventually realized she wasn't there. I sat up, confused, and looked around the nursery.

Finally I had the sense to look OUT of the nursery where Earthgaze was talking to Aurakit with Rosekit standing nearby. "Huh?" I mumbled, confused.

[Rosepaw]

I spotted Whisperkit, and gestured for her to join us. When I looked away, the sun shone in my eyes, temporarily blinding me. "Mouse dung." I muttered. There were now purple spots dancing in my vision, and I closed my eyes.

[Deathpaw]

Whisper: I yawned and blinked again, slowly, when Rosekit motioned for me to come. I shrugged my tiny shoulders and stumbled out into the orange light of the dawning sun.

Shadows cast all over camp, light beaming down on the highest points in camp. The trees seemed to whisper in the slight breezy wind, and every rock seemed to thrum with happiness.

Or maybe I'm just delirious.

I walked up next to Rosekit, my ocean-blue eys finally completely open.

"Why'z everyone out here?" I grumbled to the spotted white and yellow/orang kit.

[Rosepaw]

"Well, I was here first. I wanted to see the deputy sort patrols, then Aurakit sleep walked here, too." I glanced at the kit, then continued. "Then Earthgaze came too. I think that's why."

[Deathpaw]

Whisper: I nodded absentmindedly. "Patrols? What'cha, wanna be deputy when ya grow up?"

The tiny grey moon old kit was maturing faster then you thought she would with all those hyper moments.

"Sounds cool. But I'd rathder be a normal warrior." I sighed. "Ya know, no pressure if ya wanna try for deputy."

The sun was just coming up over the horizon, the orange colors growing fainter and being slowly replaced by regular ol' colorless light.

[Earthgaze]

I looked down, my sea-green eyes glinting with amusement.

"Why hello Whisperkit. You seem to be awake now." I purred, my whiskers twitching slightly.

Then I moved my head slightly to watch Rosekit. "Mintheart should be out any second now..."

Dawn was approaching, the rosy colors blanketing the sky. Soon the sun would be up and camp would be bustling like any regular day.

[Rosepaw]

I nodded. "Yeah, matter of fact, I do wanna be deputy."

I stared at the warriors den again, and sighed. (Someone get Mintheart over here! Call not me! lol)

A cool breeze was stirring the air, and I shivered. The cold seemed to slice through my skin, and my pelt was not helping.

[Deathpaw]

Whisper:

I smiled slightly, a barely concealed grin that showed show my tiny white teeth. "Deputy? Good luck wid 'at."

It was quite funny how I talked, you could say. Maybe from hearing all those words they got mixed up in my head and my brain wasn't able to process them right.

"If ya do becom' deputy, Don't pick me fer' dawn patrol. I normally don't wake up this earleh'."

[Earthgaze]

I glanced at Deathkit, amused. "You'll need to be, if you're going to be a warrior." I said sternly.

I watched dawn, my sea-green eyes glowing in the yellow light, a slight breeze rustling my fur. I heard the faint mewing and murmurs of awaking warriors in the warriors den, and the whole camp glowed in the light.

"Dawn..." I murmured. "Best time of the whole day."

[Sereinty]

Honeykit scrambled out of the nursery, she was excited about the deputy sorting patrols, she watched with Excitement "I wish I could be deputy" she said to herself

[Mintheart]

Just then, Mintheart passed by the nursery; the fresh scent of the forest still clinging to her fur. She had been renewing scent markers.
The sleek gray she-cat just happened to hear this conversation and stopped.
"Deputy, huh?" she purred. "It takes a lot to work up to that position, and it's always the final stepping stone before leader. But the only effort will only be the will to fight for and defend and take care of your Clan."
She remembered when she was a kit; she had only wanted to be the best warrior, not a deputy. In fact, she hadn't even thought of becoming one until Autumnstar had chosen her.

[Earthgaze]

(Happy, Rosie? Mintheart's here. *Sticks tongue out*)

"Oh, hello, Mintheart." I said upon noticing the deputy. "Rosekit over here wanted to see you organize patrols. And then...pretty much half the nursery woke up and followed her." I said, amused.

I swung my head to look at my adoptive kit. "If you want to be deputy, you'll need to train hard. Now I don't pretend to understand everythin' about being deputy, so whatever I tell you..." I trailed off and flicked my tail.
